How to activate Stand (GTA V)

Redeem at stand.gg, disable BattlEye and launch via the Stand Launchpad - solo-session safe.

Your Stand – GTAV Online license key was emailed to you the second your payment cleared - it's also waiting in My Account → Orders. This guide takes you from that key to your first launch.

1. Redeem your key

Create an account at stand.gg.

Redeem the key from your email on your account page.

Download the Stand loader from the account page.

2. Set up & launch

Add a Windows Defender exclusion for the Stand folder.

Disable BattlEye - Rockstar Launcher: Settings → disable BattlEye. On Steam: GTA V → Properties → Launch Options → add -nobattleye, and disable it in the Rockstar Launcher too.

Open the Stand Launchpad, enable Auto Inject, pick your platform, and click Launch.

Load into Story Mode first.

Go Online safely: Online → New Session → Invite Only Session.

Troubleshooting

  • Loader disappears - your Defender exclusion isn't set - add it and re-download.
  • Game boots with BattlEye anyway - check both the launch option and the Rockstar Launcher toggle.
  • Crashes in Online - you're in a public lobby - Stand Legacy is invite-only/solo. Create a fresh Invite Only session.
